"A man has perished and his body has become earth; all his relatives have crumbled to dust. It is writing that makes him remembered." . . . a quote by an ancient Egyptian scribe, circa 2000 B.C. and illustrated in mixed media with calligraphy. Courtyard Collection
A few years ago we happened upon the beautiful Courtyard Gallery in Mystic, CT. We've now become part of their wonderful family of artists. Although we are not exhibiting, we support everyone who is represented. Stop by and visit owners, Fran and Rudy, for the treat of your lifetime!

A Writer's Garden
- journalady®
- My husband, Richard, and I create from our studio at A Writer's Garden in Stonington, CT where, for the past 31 years, our passion has been illustrating the written word in various mediums, lastly, in 2015, through our published book, "the cat who lost its meOW" . . . I've also been trademarked as "The Journal Lady®" for 27 years. Although outdated, please visit our website below for an in depth peek at our work. My current website features my photography and ART . . . https://www.flickr.com/photos/colorfulexpressions/ (as of 5/22/2022)
